Mostly psychological and social causes for this difference. Women are expected to get back to work & normal life sooner = more stress sooner = less recovery time. What causes heart attack for men and women differ. Micro things closer to you as an individual. If you make dollar more your health / socioeconomic status goes up. If you have higher education it goes up as well. Generally the more income the higher your health is. Know that people with a lower socioeconomic status are more likely to smoke, binge drink, etc. it effects lifestyle and lifestyle directly effects health. Gender is a social construction - men vs women have expected social roles.
