For network (groups of computers connected to each others) require a multiuser system because many users access the server. Example: a network where many people wants to print, the printer prints one document at a time. Type of computers using multiuser: mainframe (multiple users) and supercomputer (e. g. scientists) Advantages (like microsoft): user-friendly, improved internet capabilities, more security. Advantages: processing capabilities, system is very reliable, and the le backup utilities. Disadvantage: fewer software applications for mac than windows. So now, if you buy a new 64-bit system, you need to be sure your hardware are updated to work well with it.
