The word ethics has a very specific meaning. Ethics is a branch of the discipline of philosophy. Philosophy is a discipline that is concern with the fundamental truths of human existence. It is the method and theory of this branch of ethics that we rely on in order to think about the choices human and societies face. Ethics is the systematic analysis of behavioral choices that humans or societies face. The key point is that it"s a way of analyzing and thinking about choices. Ethics help humans reflect on questions of right or wrong, obligations and rights, or whether social and political goals are being met. These kinds of decisions tend to be very subjective and depend on values or world views of the person making the decision. Ex if some was to ask you whether euthanasia or the choice for an individual to take their life is a good or not.
