In order to decide on the ethical nature of the choice we have to make, we need to irst relect on the nature of the choice we face. In relecing on choices, a key point to bear in mind is that ethics provides a means to jusify in a raional manner, the acions we take in a profession or personal context. Each acion is to jusify as ethical, if it is made on the basis of some ethical rule. The ethical rule is to: treat yourself the same way as others (deontological theory) .
