The land of judah was denuded of trees to make crucifixes. Those who survived were taken away in slavery. Apocalyptic message kingdom is at hand: repent and be forgiven. Leadership message disciples must give up everything and be willing to die. Message to those opposing god is loving and merciful and wants sinners to repent. The teaching of jesus: apocalyptic message of good news.
