Once information is released to the public sphere it"s up for bashing. Takes a while to figure out what their articles are all about. Media tries to tweak your emotions; main focus of advertising. Need to convince editors their articles are worth it. Don"t like to give out interview questions in advance. Issues: boil down to the basics" human angle; conflict; current events. Don"t want to hear intricacies of everything you"ve done. Key characters: put yourself in audience"s shoes. Keep it short; also arrange in short paragraphs. Include backgrounder/bios (at the end of the text)
