Psyo 1011 november 1st 2018 the most famous case study in psychology. Medial temporal lobe generates electroactivity in some people: he suffered from permanent memory loss. He remembered stuff before the surgery: brenda milner did some research. He had to trace a star using the mirror but cant see his hand. Anytime he went outside the star, it counted as a mistake. However, he did but he can"t remember that he did it before at all: she had to introduce herself everyday. Many different parts of our brain are involved in learning and conscious activities is not required for all learning: his implicit memory was in tact but he didn"t have his explicit memory. He lost his memory and he only remembers his wife. He has less than 30 seconds memory. He could also remember how to play the piano. Memory: the ability to store and use information, the store of what has been learned and remembered.
