Why is psychology challenging & interesting?: human behavior is difficult to predict because most actions are multiply determined (produced by many factors, psychological influences don"t act in isolation. Difficult to decide which cause or causes are operating: people also differ from each other in terms of thinking, emotion, personality, and behavior. Such individual differences can explain why we can respond to the same situation differently.
