Pragmatic party/broker party/catch-all party: changes it"s ideological position to maximize votes. Movement party: arises from social movement and want to change society. Personalist party: when a party forms around a person and their ideas. One party system: sometimes there is only one party allowed in a country. Defacto: one party dominant, one party wins all the time. Multiparty system: parties that compete with each other and form a coalition government. Different political officials from different parties, joining together to form government. Parties have a problem of lack of interest from the younger generation.
