Document Summary

Bit: binary digit basic unit of classical information. Mathematical information that takes the value of 0 or 1. If a system can be in two states in t can also be in any coherent superposition of those two states. Eac point in the sphere represents a point of a quantum bit (bloch sphere) A qubit can be realized by any two dimensional quantum system. Measurement on the bloch sphere: line that goes through the center. Two outcomes is the 0 state and the 1 state. Any line that goes throughout the sphere and gives you a different measurement. The outcome will be +1 for one antipodal point and -1 for the other antipodal point. First measurement: project the blue dot on the line. +1 because it is higher, closer to the up sign. Second measurement: project the blue dot on the horizontal access. Closer to the right state so you get 75%
