Caused by a bacteria listeria monocytogenes that live intracellular. Pregnant women are especially susceptible to this bacteria and consequences are. It is a foodborne pathogen and can infect animals and humans dramatic for them. It leads to infection in several tissue and organs. Motile, which means it can travel by itself, it can move with its flagella. Animals and humans can transmit between themselves this disease lnla and lnlb allows the bacteria to bind to cell membranes and stimulate the cell with signal to uptake the bacteria. The bacteria now found inside a vacuole inside the cell, will secrete llo and pi-plc in order to degrade the vacuole and escape. Once it is in the cytoplasm, it can divide freely. On the opposite side of the division side, actin is express leading to motility acquirement of the bacteria. This will allow the bacteria to travel between cells and repeat the process.
