Members of all major groups migrate (not all species but each major taxa at least have one migrating species) Crossing roads is a problem since can get killed by cars! Mostly to find suitable habitat for reproduction, but also if needs change or enviro changes. Need a lot of energy so undergo hyperphagia (intense appetite) to store fat. Ex: whooping cranes are endangered so want to reintroduce them to nature so can"t let them be imprinted on humans as food source so need to wear a whooping crane costume fish:
