Chrysippus so he abducts him from his father. Not only does he abduct him but he also rapes him. As a result, chrysippus is devastated and he commits suicide. The crime laius committed was even worse because he was a guest at the court of king pelops: he breaches the hospitality of the king (domain of zeus). Laius and his family to be killed by his own son.
