The course introduces the base concepts of computer engineering including: computer architecture and low-level programming, boolean operations, digital circuits. Hour long, covers first 3 modules no date yet: final 50% In this course we will use logicworks, which is pre-installed on campus computers. We will also use a simulator for mips r2000/3000 machines (spim, also installed on campus: download found at www. cs. wisc. edu/~larus/spim. html.
