Campaigning to try and convince the public that it was necessary. Tet offensive- offensive launch, secret surprise attack that helped vietnam win the war. 1968 was the bloodiest time and led to 60 thousand dead soldiers, this swung public opinion against the war, without being able to mobilize troops properly.
