The oppression of women and nature are interrelated. A feminist perspective must be part of any proposed ecological solution. In hunter-gather societies, men hunted while women gathered. Women are often associated with nature, and men with culture. A study of power dynamics within a society. Dualism can create oppression due to the creation of superior/inferior comparisons. There is evidence that europeans used to have nature goddesses. Agricultural activity becomes the human purpose to please this god. Reclamation by women of population growth is part of ecofeminism. Special bond between women and nature can be observed.
