Allot of biomass generated creates toxins due to anaerobic bacteria that is generated. Blue green algae - have limiting nutrients and it limit production of algae but phosphate and nitrogen creates the growth. This can create water buildup which leaches into the lake. Water can be reduced due to high periods of evaporation. Even if there is no fertilizer, the lake becomes more concentrated and less volume in the lake. Increase nutrient concentration and warm temperature causes rapid algae growth. Extreme weather events will stimulate these types of organisms. Rainfall and temperature = climate change will create human issues. Eutrophication = increase nutrients how much will these events occur. Deforestation increase surface runoff increase flooding & reduced water quality. Deforestation + climate change increase drought reduced water supply.
