Comes into contact and acts like acid on body (acid rain) Ethics of air pollutions no proper human trials. Very small particles are of growing importance fine particulates build up and damage. Can be uniform across a region fine particulates caused health effect. Long term health effects are caused by small particles. Research that says that it is not particle but what is in it. Build up and reduce lung capacity to exchange gas and taxes the organs that require oxygen. Reflects a lot of heavy industrial nature. Those that did change - industrialization became smaller.
