1. Most famous for the Rome anarchy… Wrote Ab Urbe Condita
(History of Rome Since its Foundation) … Wrote 142 books.
2. Dated 754 BCE(begins…in his texts).
3. 167 BCE: Text after no longer exist… He wrote more, but it was
not preserved…
3. Romulus and Remus:
1. Rome was founded by Romulus and Remus…
1. Sons of Mars Raped by a God(of Warrior)
2. Evil King thought Romulus and Remus were going to
overthrown them...
1. Told to throw them away... in the river.
2. The infants washed ashore. Saved/Fed by a shepherds.
3. “Mystical Character” but Romans believe this like
“Homer”.
