Food and drug act in 1906: regulation of food and what goes in people"s bodies. National parks: turns western land, name as a conservationist. Some child and women protection (influenced by women activists) Helps to pass some of the first federal laws about labour. E. g. protection for women, limited hours, child labour laws, maybe money after divorce. Regulates economy: goes to j. p morgan"s company, northern securities. Co. - this is illegal, breaks it up and j. p. morgan has too much power.
