Midterm includes material in blocks 1 and 2 (only dr. king and fournier, this lecture not included in midterm) For each mystery case: 10% of final grade (preparation and presentation) Case report provided 3 weeks prior to presentation. Each group will be given 1 question related to mystery case (5 groups = 5 questions) Each group will then deliver a 10 min presentation on the mystery case. Student self-evaluation (graded by other members of your groups) First 90 mins are classic powerpoint presentation (primary studying material) Sometimes slides are gone over fast but they are complimentary material. Things that are not required to know will be indicated. Go over extra slides or go into small groups. We are engineered to develop specific molecular mechanisms of foreign antigen recognition: highly specific recognition of foreign antigens with potent mechanisms for pathogen elimination. Ability of translating antigen recognition result in biological effect.
