Usa ocp, iud, male condom, female/male sterilization. France no use of sterilization but the pill is widely used instead. Oocyte is ovulated released from ovary into fallopian tube transferred to uterus fertilized by sperm and implanted into endometrium. Once implanted, it will start to grow and develop. All events are timed and regulated by hormones. They regulate fertility can increase or decrease it. Cancer chemotherapy hormones play a role in certain types of cancer. The cells have receptors for the sex hormones so hormone manipulation can be used for therapy.
