The title of your paper should be written last. Mcgill journal has formatting to follow (template posted on mycourses) Shows the format and what is expected to be found in each section. The abstract is supposed to be a complete summary of your entire paper (usually 200- Abstract for :observation of gravitational waves from a binary black hole merger. Notice how title is descriptive of the whole paper this is a good example of an abstract with the 4 necessary parts in proper order. Abstract for: atom at a time spectroscopy this is written for all scientists (audience) It sticks to this audience all the way thorugh (doesn"t end up specializing or generalizing too much) Don"t copy large parts of lab manuals and don"t include derivations.
