Population- a group of plants of the same species, in the same ecosystem. Metapopulation- a set of spatially separated population with some exchange. Community- an assemblage of populations of different species. Metacommunity- a set of spatially separated communities that exchange colonists of multiple species. Landscape- a specific configuration of ecosystems and land-uses in a given area. Region- an assemblage of landscapes influenced by abiotic factors and humans. Biosphere- the portion of the earth and its atmosphere that can support life. Hermaphrodites- both male and female organs in the same flower (common) Monoecious- male and female flowers on the same plant. Diecious- male and female flowers on different plants. Annuals- go from seed to seed in less than 1 year. Genet- a group of genetically identical cloned plants (individuals are called ramets)
