Diferent democraic experience: absolute decentralizaion, anyone can be a minister, no premium on literary or being ariculate. Can mold in ways that can afect/relect the quality of life they want. Catholicism: more dependent on social class: color blind. Modernizaion theory as wrong: religion and ethnicity coninue to play an important, oten posiive role in the world.
