Do you need a secular government to be a modern state. Do you need a secular government to have a democratic state. Do some religions support democracy more than others. Does religious pluralism(diversity help or hurt democracy/ more or less likely to cause stability/conflict. What does it mean when it is operationalized. Do political scientists overestimate/underestimate the role of religion- the salience of religion in some contexts. 31 and a half christian and half considered catholic. 23% muslim/ 15% hindu biggest religions distribution on geographical level: breaks down larger categories into the groups within them. The red and the light blue is more protestanism, did that have an impact on some of those states formation and democracies.
