The demagogue is a charismatic leader who is only concerned with their status and their greatness. Go to war because winning would look good and not because it is in the state"s interest. The politician guides the machine of the bureaucracy of they cannot guide the politician. When a war ends do not think of who started it but find a way to move on. In 1919 germany just lost the war and france is about to insist on some ridiculous reparations which significantly led to the rise of the right and the german nazi party a few years later. Weber calls rejecting morality the most important aspect of politics of politics but that is a rough argument.
