When each participant is significant in the interaction (because it is a large player, has commitments or private information that narrow scope), we must think of the interaction as a strategic game. Rules of game fixed or manipulable? pregame of rule manipulation is the real game which depends on had facts related to the players" innate abilities. Agreements to cooperate enforceable? balancing interest and maximizing total benefit agreements can succeed if players act immediately in the presence of the whole group. Without enforceability, agreements will stand only if interests abide to them cooperative: games in which join action agreements are enforceable non-cooperative: enforcement not possible, individual participants act on own interests. Most games do not have adequate mechanisms for agreements or external enforcement bargaining and treatment of markets/competition. Observation and experiment reality of strategic interactions: observing them as they occur naturally, conducting special experiments to pin down effects of conditions.
