You don"t find governments in the middle east referring to daesh as being jihadist. it"s giving credit to daesh when you call them jihadists. Salafi, look back to the time of the prophet as being ideal. Takfiri, someone who accuses someone else of being insufficiently muslim. Radical islamists movements use force, moderate ones operate within the system. Modernists wants thing to change, conservatives don"t and revivalist have a salafist argument. 1985: establishment of hezbollah because of israeli occupation and iraq providing support.
