Most laws/international institutions implicates permanent stay within these areas we call it occupied territories. Some israelis want to call it disputed territories. Occupied states may not be the correct term because there was no peace treaty in 1948 leaves territories ambiguous: no clear sense of who the regions belonged to, where the borders were. Justice minister says we cannot annex the land without letting the people there become citizens. Other people do not want to absorb the people in the areas but they want to keep the territories.
