Been reading cases in order to learn techniques of reading a case, and pinpointing techniques used by the judges. Paying attention to the ways that judges try to bring you in and persuade you. One way is to focus on one trajectory here, how. Donoghue v. stevenson is treated in dorset yacht and to analyse and aim to understand the judgment through this one trajectory. In order to do this, search the five judgments in dorset yacht for examples of passages illustrating the following methodological approaches, specifically in referring to donoghue: interpretation of a rule or principle; argument by analogy; categorization or classification. Are there two judges that you would pull out to focus on? (reid progressive and looks at principle, dilhorne argues by analogy and does not want the law to progress (like atkin and buckmaster in d v s))
