The canadian sports federation did not want to have a repeat of calgary, so they invested a lot of energy and effort in manpower to make sure that canada would perform well. Vancouver, we did the best we had ever done by winning 14 gold medals the most gold medals a country has ever won in the winter olympics. They think it might be helpful for athletes to think there is innate factors: sports psychologists believe in mental, psychological factors, which have to do with how you perform in big game.
