To talk about sexual deviance, must outline the norms about normal sexuality. Not as stigmatized to hook up before dating. Gender dichotomy: sluts versus studs, female passivity. Starting age, not too young but not too old. Something you do in private; don"t tell everyone. Threesome would be a risqu , one-time thing. Virginity is the new sexual deviancy; experience is assumed at certain ages. Man must orgasm; female orgasm not expected. Men watch porn; women read books, less so watch by themselves. Taboo so not otherwise known to us. Sexually deviant behaviours are at the top of the least discriminated, discredited and stigmatized. Need to look at why there are so many rules and severe sanctions for sexual deviance (incest, pedophilia, etc. ) even when legal. How many divorces happen after cheating rather than corporate crime.
