Gender expression, how a person communicates their gender, transgender/trans/gender identity disorder ie. through defining themselves as being transgender for example. Indian separate gender where male-born individual wears female clothing, ideally renounce sexual desires and undergo physical emasculation through nirvana/rebirth operation where the penis, testes and scrotum is physically removed. Intersex term used to describe the process of an individual undergoing a transformation from one sex tot another. Social reproduction: care and sustenance of people that can contribute productively to society. Cultural ideologies: purpose for these is to maintain and change gender constructs, along with creating gender roles and constructs that society deems acceptable.
