Social inclusion: a socially inclusive society is defined as one where all people feel valued, their differences are respected and their basic needs are met so they can live in dignity. Egalitarian: relating to or believing in the principle that all people are equal and deserve equal rights and opportunities. Social exclusion: the individual is not engaged in meaningful participation in a society. Video: take measurements of a bunch of people with physical disabilities, replicate with maneqnequins, put in store front windows for people to see as they pass by, people seemed happy to see themselves like that. Racial (ex, black/untouchables) and economic (romani) exclusion. Hugh jackman on aboriginal communities: feels its where he really grew up, reflecting on his life, feels media portrays the aboriginal people wrongly. All he knew previously was poverty, alcohol etc: feels we have much to learn from these people, wasn"t taught about this stolen generation in his schooling.
