Advertisements for campaigns have changed since the rst outbreak. Used to think that hiv was contacted through sharing meals/drinks etc. 2006 study: hiv topic still leads to stigma. Study showed that most people said would feel uncomfortable living or working with someone with hiv. New treatments and new research brought new campaigns and raising money/ motivating political interests. Shifting new organizational interests by those who produce these advertisements. I. e. ngos, governmental organizations, health campaigns, etc. Geographies are important to where these would be posted. Always posted in more populated areas with possible higher levels of hiv. Activists took to the responses of the public. Blamed gay men for being the spread of hiv eventually to health workers, women, and children.
