Commissioned by the guild to sculpt four sculptures. The subject is four ancient roman sculptors who were put to death. Features a high relief with a figure of god as well as low relief figures representing the guild and figures building wall and putting the finishing touches on a sculpture. He was a master artist and had his own shop and apprentices. Her father was a painter, a member of a guild and she was able to train under him. She is depicted in the midst of painting a female figure and looking out at the canvas, her right hand has a malhstick and in her left hand is a palette and brushes. The viewer is placed in the perspective of the subject of her work. She uses this self portrait to promote herself as a painter. Many of her pieces were commissioned by mary of hungary and it is possible she commis- sioned this work.
