Cosmogony: story and account of the origins of everything. Examples: the big bang, adam and eve, turtle shell story. Temple at the centre of the city (ziggurat) was a house for the gods. This was a literal house for the gods, with staff, food, changed bedsheets. The gods were among people, not up in the sky. Going into medicine, you will very likely kill someone or cause their otherwise preventable death (medical error). Lives can be ruined in many ways, not just in medicine. We came by death because we were so human and annoying in the rst place. Sumerian gods who lived in ziggurats thought humanity was a great idea but then got annoyed by humans. Humans made too much noise, kept the gods up, and procreated like rabbits. Gods relent and have a bit of remorse - humans are useful! Instead of completely destroying humanity, they invent death to manage humanity.
