Ancestors of humans and chimps was more horuizontal relative to ground since used to walk on all four. But now humans walk on twos so the spine is more vertical and s shaped. 12: pelvis and leg change again due to bipetalism. Ancestor of chimps and humans tibia was directly underneath the femur because it eas less weight baring. The orientation of the tibia relative to pelvis is more direcrly underneath for weight baring reasons and the femoral head is also longer than it is in chimps.
