Future of virology: the sars coronavirus genome is ssrna positive strand, the rna virus belongs to a family of enveloped coronaviruses. Its genome is about 29. 7 kb, which is one of the largest among rna viruses. A side-note on rt-pcr: this method is incredibly useful. It is an adaption of the pcr method discussed in chapter 1.
