Plant biodiversity and biotechnology will introduce key concepts in plant biology and biodiversity, including the origin of plants, plant structure and development, plant genomes, plant responses to the environment, plant interactions with other organisms, agriculture and plant biotechnology. Class participation expectations: students may work in pairs in the labs but the ta"s will grade the lab participation mark (questions on slides or dissections) and diagrams/images (2%) as an individual effort.
