Type of coffin or sarcophagus (made of terra cotta {baked clay}) The legs are adorned with a checkered pattern but the side shows a scene of grief mainly women mourning. +scene of ulunation (onomonopia of mourning the death of a young hero) =cry or wail of grief, loss or mourning, often with tearing of the hair. Figures are stylised (not individual all have a pattern and they are not realistic) Any strange features are made that way to draw in the onlooker. Although the scene is simple it is touching. Figures in the pose of mourning flank to other people (one with and one without hair) they stand above a small body being placed in a small larnax. +although it is not overly difficult art it is touching none the less. Psi and phi figurines {1400 1200 bc} Difficult time for the mother-to-be and the life of the child (medical knowledge was limited)
