Important for remaining soldiers to know that their bodies will be properly buried when they die. Poseidon is upset that the greeks did not make a sacrifice before building their wall. Apollo is worried that the greek wall will become more famous than the wall of troy (apollo and poseidon helped build the wall of troy) Zeus tells apollo that when the greeks leave they can knock it down, to prevent it from becoming more famous than the wall of troy.
