Chorus struggles with the rightness of orestes" justice: foretell suffering for orestes, confusion about whether or not justice has been served for orestes. The furies approach: they chase orestes off the stage, seeks help from apollo in delphi, told by apollo the furies would pursue him if he didn"t avenge his father"s death. The pythia: priestess of the oracle of apollo at delphi.
