Human beings fled here, to escape slavery and death- danger to these human beings was not aliens, but other human beings. Landed on an alien world- dominant species looked very alien- some aliens were killed by humans. Arrival coincided with a kind of breeding crisis for the clique- breeding that has always worked for them was ceasing to work for. T" gatoi doesn"t sound alien/ feel alien- to gan, these people are not foreign/ alien. The aliens were ripping eggs out of bodies and eating them.
