But then a human kills him-> he says that the fish should be happy that he is immortalized in a poem and that his fish friends will be jealous. As much as you can empathize with the fish it is a human sovereignty over the fish. It acknowledges the inherent utility of the fish-> but it is gracious towards the fish= human and animal relations are changing. A sense of an immortal cycle-> you came to me and we eat the fish -> makes us come to terms with the cycle and its unfairness-> decentres the human. There is an expression of ignorance-> they both live in a cosmic ignorance. Shows that there is connections and symbolic connections that exist in the world that are beyond human knowledge.
