There needs to be a reason for why the character is doing what they"re. Don"t tie everything up and make it super neat and simple. We should see the consequence(s) from the choice they made thinks by killing the shark he will erase his problems and people will validate him doing and an obstacle thrown in their way. An emotional stake (cid:498) and it was all a dream(cid:499) A moral at the end of the story. A paragraph explaining how we should feel about the story, or who was in the wrong or the right. An arbitrary twist that robs the choice of its consequences.
