Climate change, global warming and greenhouse gases. Some of the tropical storms, hurricanes like katrina can result in loss of life. The face of climate change the table shows the impact of the extreme weather events from 1980 to 2010. The number of events has been increasing, but the increase in cost is very dramatic. Different special spheres: microclimate: near/ on the ground surface, mesoclimate: small are of the earth surface, macroclimate: state/country, global climate: entire earth. Hamilton, ontario is considered to be a mesoclimate. Climate is not constant; there are time scales when climates change. The graph shows the timescales of changes based on the different isotopes.
