Arctic archipelago: north of arctic circle and boreal treeline, 3 main sub-regions, arctic platform -> located on the western half + made up of sedimentary rock plateaus, arctic coastal plain. Innutian mountain complex -> located on the eastern half containing mountains made from folded and faulted sedimentary strata.
