Third world negative connotation post-ward terminology ranking system: implies different, but poorer. Underdeveloped negative connotation stuck: implies inferior, but maybe with possibilities. Ratio between richest and poorest nations: 44 times to 72 times, on the one hand: growing disparity between nations.
